Commends the Food Bank of Delaware for its contributions to ending hunger and addressing poverty in Delaware.

Distributed approximately 6.2 million pounds of food through 550 partner networks in the past year and served over 4,000 households through its mobile pantry vehicle.

Provided 129,369 backpacks to at-risk youth, produced 221,928 meals through its After-School Nutrition Program, and delivered over 192,000 meals during summer months.

Supplied supplemental food boxes to an estimated 2,300 senior citizens monthly and graduated over 400 students through 44 classes of its Culinary School since 2002.

Leverages 15,691 volunteer visits (41,455 donated hours) and operates with 52 full-time and part-time employees at Newark and Milford facilities.
