Designates March 26, 2016, as "Purple Day" in Delaware to promote epilepsy awareness globally.

Requests the Governor issue a proclamation for Purple Day and calls upon state agencies and Delaware residents to undertake efforts to increase epilepsy awareness throughout the state.

Acknowledges that epilepsy affects approximately 3 million Americans and over 50 million people worldwide, making it the third most common neurological condition after Alzheimer's disease and strokes.

Recognizes that lack of public knowledge and misinformation about epilepsy leads to stigma, lost job opportunities, and inability to appropriately respond during seizures.

Directs delivery of a copy of the resolution to the Governor of Delaware.
