Adopts the 2016 Older Americans Month theme of "Blaze a Trail," recognizing older adults as trailblazers advocating for themselves, their peers, and communities.

Commits Delaware to raising awareness about issues facing older Americans and supporting their ability to thrive in communities of their choice.

Encourages promotion of activity, wellness, social involvement, home and community-based services, and leveraging the experience and contributions of older adults.

Urges all Delaware residents to acknowledge older adults and those who serve them as powerful and vital contributors to the community.
