Permits the President Judge of the Superior Court, with Chief Justice approval, to temporarily assign retired Commissioners to active duty.

Retired Commissioners must have been in good standing at retirement, consent to the assignment, and have no conflicts of interest including private law practice, state office, or state employment.

Compensates active retired Commissioners on a per diem basis at 1/260 of annual Commissioner salary, not to exceed maximum per diem for retired judges or current Commissioner salary.

Superior Court reimburses approved travel expenses for retired Commissioners performing active duty assignments.

Expenditures for retired Commissioner work come from funds appropriated for this purpose or other court-approved funds.
