Extends the timeframe for emergency ex parte protective orders in domestic violence cases from 10 days to 15 calendar days in §1043(c) of Title 10.

Extends the timeframe for full hearings following an ex parte protective order from 10 days to 15 days in §1043(d).

Allows courts to extend ex parte orders beyond 15 days if needed to effectuate service or continue protection, not to exceed 30 days total.

Applies the 15-day timeframe to all expedited emergency hearings, whether or not an ex parte order was previously issued.

Intended to provide additional time for service of orders and petitions on respondents and allow parties more time to prepare for hearings.
