Amends Title 29, Section 5916(e) to add Prison Education Program employees to the list of state employees eligible for hazardous duty pay.

Specifies that employees in the Prison Education Program authorized under Chapter 24 of Title 14 whose primary job location is within correctional institutions qualify for hazardous duty pay.

Clarifies that Prison Education Program employees have been eligible for hazardous duty pay for several years; this legislation formally updates the merit system statute to reflect existing authorization in Chapter 24 of Title 14 and the state Budget Act.
