Amends § 1457 of Title 11 of Delaware Code regarding weapon possession penalties in Safe School and Recreation Zones.

Maintains existing penalty structure: class B misdemeanor becomes class A misdemeanor; unclassified misdemeanor becomes class B misdemeanor; class E, F, or G felony increases one grade; class D felony remains class D felony.

Elementary or secondary school students possessing a firearm in a Safe School and Recreation Zone shall be expelled for not less than 180 days, unless modified by local school board or charter school board on a case-by-case basis.

Elementary or secondary school students possessing a deadly weapon other than a firearm in a Safe School and Recreation Zone may be suspended for not less than 30 days, unless modified by local school board or charter school board on a case-by-case basis.
