Replaces outdated terminology throughout Delaware Code by standardizing references to "long term care facilities" instead of fragmented terms like "nursing facilities," "similar facilities," "sanatorium," "rest home," and "boarding home."

Updates definitions in Title 11 § 8564 by removing separate definitions for "nursing facility" and "similar facility" and establishing a single definition of "long term care facility" that includes facilities licensed under Chapter 11 of Title 16, Delaware Psychiatric Center, and hospitals certified by the Department of Health and Social Services.

Amends seven Delaware Code titles (2, 16, 18, 19, 24, and 30) to apply consistent terminology across medical transportation, advance health-care directives, criminal background checks, insurance arbitration, employment practices, medical treatment of minors, and quality assessments.

Corrects a statutory reference in Title 30 § 6502 by changing the reference from § 1180 to § 1181 of Title 16 for the Nursing Facility Quality Assessment Fund deposit requirements.

Takes effect upon enactment of House Bill No. 195 of the 149th General Assembly to ensure underlying changes to Chapter 11 of Title 16 are made before the terminology changes take effect statewide.
