Replaces existing food donation liability protection with expanded immunity that includes gleaned food, state agencies, and wild game in addition to nonprofit organizations.

Protects persons and gleaners who donate food in good faith from civil and criminal liability unless injury or death results from gross negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct.

Extends immunity to persons who provide services related to processing wild game donated to nonprofit organizations or state agencies.

Protects nonprofit organizations accepting donated food from liability under the same conditions, provided the food is ultimately distributed without charge and not resold.

Requires the Division of Public Health to review regulations limiting donated food use within one year and report findings to the Governor and General Assembly regarding retained, modified, or terminated regulations.
