Replace "physical disability" with "disability" throughout § 4501 to accurately reflect that Chapter 45 prohibits discrimination against individuals with both physical and mental disabilities.

Replace the term "support animal" with "service animal" and adopt the ADA definition requiring that service animals be dogs individually trained to perform tasks for persons with any type of disability, including psychiatric, intellectual, or mental disabilities.

Move the requirement to permit service animals from the definition section to § 4504 (unlawful practices), making it clear that denying access to a service animal is a prohibited discriminatory practice.

Add new § 4504(a)(2) permitting places of public accommodation to provide reasonable accommodations based on gender identity in disrobing areas such as locker rooms or changing facilities.

Include service animal trainers and their animals within the coverage of public accommodation requirements.
