Require healthcare providers to screen all children for lead poisoning at 12 months and 24 months of age in accordance with Division of Public Health standards.

Eliminate the discretionary criteria-based screening at 24 months and make it mandatory for all children, removing confusion that has caused low compliance rates.

Require the Division of Public Health to review testing criteria at least once every five years and update standards as necessary.

Maintain universal reporting system for all laboratories conducting blood lead level analysis through the State Board of Health.

Preserve parental/guardian right to object to screening on religious grounds.
