Eliminates court authority to suspend or revoke a student's driver's license or hunting license as a penalty for truancy.

Removes provisions allowing courts to suspend or revoke work permits or driver's permits for truancy violations.

Retains other remedial dispositions available to courts, including community service, counseling, curfews, and prohibition from extracurricular activities.

Adds requirement that courts cannot suspend or revoke permits or licenses if doing so would impose economic hardship on the student or family.

Effective upon enactment.
