Removes "violent misdemeanor" as a factor that prevents juveniles from receiving mandatory expungement of their records, correcting a drafting error from Senate Bill 198 of the 148th General Assembly

Deletes the definition of "violent misdemeanor" from the juvenile expungement statute since it is no longer applicable

Preserves existing prohibitions on mandatory expungement for violent felonies, felony sex offenses, and misdemeanor sex offenses

Clarifies language by adding "sex offense" after "felony" to mirror definitions in §1016 without making substantive changes

Restores the original intent of juvenile expungement law, making it easier for youth with certain misdemeanor adjudications to qualify for mandatory expungement after 3 years
