HB 92 Summary

• Adds a new disclosure requirement to Section 5813 of Delaware Code requiring public officers to report any receipt over $10,000 in the last 10 years from the sale or transfer of land, development rights, agricultural conservation easements, forest preservation easements, or other easements to state or local government entities.

• Requires disclosure of both the amount of money received and identification of which public instrumentality, government agency, or government organization purchased or received the land or easement rights.

• Applies to every member of the General Assembly and persons elected to state office as defined in the financial disclosure requirements.

• Specifies that disclosures must be submitted electronically through the database maintained by the Commission.
