Acknowledges that while over 450 drugs and biologics have been approved for rare disease treatment, millions of Americans still lack approved treatments for their conditions.

Notes that individuals and families with rare diseases face challenges including diagnosis delays, difficulty finding medical experts, and limited access to treatments or support services.

Supports participation by Delaware patients, caregivers, medical professionals, researchers, and companies in the national "Rare Disease Day" observance.
