Recognizes approximately 120 young men from Delaware public and private high schools who participated in the 2017 Boys State session held June 11, 2017 at Legislative Hall in Dover.

Commends the participants for gaining hands-on experience in the legislative process, bill procedures, elections, committee systems, and representative democracy through the week-long program.

Names all individual delegates participating in the 2017 session and notes they elected from their ranks a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, State Treasurer, State Auditor, State Insurance Commissioner, and leadership for both Houses of the General Assembly.

Thanks the American Legion Department of Delaware for sponsoring this educational program and their long-standing commitment to youth civics education.

Extends congratulations and best wishes to participants, with hope that some may return as elected representatives, and directs copies be distributed to all delegates and the American Legion Department of Delaware.
