Notes that Delaware attracts 9 million visitors annually and generates $504 million in direct tax and fee revenue from tourism.

Acknowledges that hospitality and tourism-related businesses comprise the fourth largest source of private sector employment in Delaware.

Commends the Greater Wilmington Convention and Visitors Bureau, Kent County Tourism, and Southern Delaware Tourism for promoting the state as a travel destination.
