Recognizes June 6, 2018 as the 74th anniversary of D-Day, the Allied landing at Normandy during World War II by American, British, and Canadian troops.

Commemorates Operation Overlord as the most extensive amphibious operation ever conducted, involving 5,000 naval vessels, over 11,000 Allied aircraft sorties, and 153,000 members of the Allied Expeditionary Force on the first day.

Honors Delaware veterans who participated in the invasion, including Maurice Kaye of Wilmington and James Davis, Jr., who died at age 26 during the operation.

Notes that American troops suffered over 6,500 casualties on D-Day and recognizes the operation as the beginning of the end of Nazi tyranny in Europe.

Calls for the people of the United States to honor the valor and sacrifices of those who fought and died for liberty and freedom during the D-Day invasion.
