Designates June 27, 2018 as "Delaware Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Day" and June 2018 as "Delaware Post-Traumatic Stress Injury Awareness Month"

Acknowledges that post-traumatic stress injury (PTSI) is a treatable brain injury resulting from exposure to extremely traumatic events including combat, interpersonal violence, accidents, and natural disasters

Advocates for changing terminology from "Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder" to "Post-Traumatic Stress Injury" to reduce stigma and encourage affected individuals to seek treatment without fear of shame or retribution

Recognizes that proper and timely treatment of PTSI can reduce suicide rates and that armed forces personnel deserve special acknowledgment for wounds received in combat
