Department of Education must present its draft ESSA (Every Student Succeeds Act) plan to the education committees of both the House and Senate before submitting the final plan to the U.S. Department of Education.

Presentation can be held as separate committee meetings or a joint meeting between both chambers.

Secretary of Education or designee must coordinate with education committee chairs to schedule the presentation at a specific date prior to the April 3, 2017 submission deadline.

Requires legislative review of Delaware's compliance plan for the federal Every Student Succeeds Act, which was passed in December 2015 with final regulations issued in November 2016.
