Designates April 6, 2017 as "AKA Day at the Capitol" in Delaware to recognize Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Acknowledges Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority as the first Greek-lettered organization established by and for African American college-educated women, founded January 15, 1908 at Howard University.

Recognizes the sorority's 290,000 global members and their community service contributions exceeding one million hours, particularly in African American neighborhoods.

Highlights Delaware's five chapters (Epsilon Iota Omega, Sigma Zeta Omega, Zeta Omega, Delta Lambda, and Tau Omicron) and their 14 consecutive years of advocacy to the Delaware General Assembly on education, health, social justice, and anti-bullying initiatives.

Notes the sorority's 2014-2018 theme of "Launching New Dimensions of Service" focused on educational enrichment, health promotion, family strengthening, environmental ownership, and global impact.
