Consolidates child abuse awareness, suicide prevention, bullying prevention, criminal youth gang detection, and teen dating violence/sexual assault training into a single subchapter (Subchapter II) of Chapter 41, Title 14.

Requires school district and charter school employees to complete 12.5 hours of training every 3 years: 3 hours child abuse/safety awareness, 3 hours bullying prevention/gang detection, 4.5 hours suicide prevention (90 minutes annually), and 2 hours of additional evidence-based training.

Requires school administrators, nurses, and counselors in grades 7-12 to receive 2 hours of teen dating violence and sexual assault training every 3 years, with new employees in these positions receiving training within 1 year of employment.

Establishes that educational programming on child abuse and personal body safety must be provided to school employees, students in grades pre-K through 6, and parents, with materials available online or in hard copy.

Applies to all public schools including charter schools and vocational technical schools, with most provisions taking effect August 1 following enactment and student instruction requirements effective August 1, 2019.
