Defines "next of kin" in Chapter 47 of Title 29 to establish a clear hierarchy: spouse, adult children, parents, or the person legally entitled to claim the decedent's remains.

Ensures confidential autopsy reports and forensic science materials are released only to the appropriate family member or authorized individual.
