Designates August 4, 2017 as "Barack Obama Day" in Delaware to commemorate former President Barack Obama's 56th birthday.

Recognizes Obama's service as the 44th President of the United States from 2009 to 2017 and his distinction as America's first African American president.

Highlights Obama's major legislative achievements including the Affordable Care Act, Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009.

Notes Obama's foreign policy accomplishments including the New START nuclear treaty, ending the Iraq War, the operation resulting in Osama bin Laden's death, support for same-sex marriage, climate change initiatives, and the Iran nuclear agreement.

Directs that copies of the resolution be sent to President and Mrs. Obama and Vice President and Mrs. Joseph R. Biden, Jr.
