Extends congratulations to the Class of 2016-2017 Eagle Scouts for achieving the highest rank in the Boy Scouts of America.

Recognizes that Eagle Scout rank requires earning merit badges in areas including First Aid, Citizenship, Communications, Personal Fitness, Emergency Preparedness, Environmental Science, Personal Management, and Camping.

Acknowledges that the achievement requires fulfilling requirements in leadership, service, and outdoor preparedness, and advancing through ranks of Tenderfoot, Second Class, First Class, Star, and Life.

Names 379 Delaware Eagle Scouts from the 2016-2017 class being honored by the resolution.

Directs that a suitably prepared copy of the resolution be presented to each Eagle Scout upon passage.
