Designates March as "Eating Disorders Awareness and Prevention Month" in Delaware

Projects approximately 26,000 females and 11,000 males in Delaware may suffer from an eating disorder during their lifetime

Notes that up to 30 million people nationwide suffer from eating disorders including anorexia, bulimia, and binge eating, which have the highest mortality rate of any mental illness

Highlights that Delaware currently has no eating disorder-specific organizations, facilities, programs, or residential treatment options

Encourages the Department of Health and Social Services to research methods to prevent and raise awareness of eating disorders
