St. Elizabeth High School Vikings Boys Varsity Basketball Team won the 2018 Delaware State Basketball Championship, the first D.I.A.A. Boys State Championship in school history.

Team defeated defending state champion Smyrna High School 60-49 on March 10, 2018.

Team roster included 12 players: Jordan Brown, Herman Jones, Michael Crippen, Nathan Thomas, Sean Gmuca, Kendrick Segars, Justin Money, Sean Hutchinson, Jaden Dickerson, Nasir Brown, Ryan Hockenbrock, and Guy DeBonaventura.

Coaching staff comprised Head Coach Matthew Rubincam, Assistant Coach Mike Cassiday, Volunteer Coach Tom Nagle, and four team managers.

Delaware State Senate extends congratulations to team members and staff and presents copies of the resolution to the team on April 24, 2018.
