Designates April 6, 2017 as "AKA Day at the Capitol" in Delaware to recognize Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.

Acknowledges Alpha Kappa Alpha as a 109-year-old organization founded on January 15, 1908 at Howard University as the first Greek-lettered organization established by and for African American college-educated women.

Recognizes the sorority's 260,000 global members and over 1 million hours of community service, particularly in African-American neighborhoods addressing poverty, social justice, and environmental sustainability.

Highlights contributions of five Delaware chapters (Epsilon Iota Omega, Sigma Zeta Omega, Zeta Omega, Delta Lambda, and Tau Omicron) including youth leadership programs, voter registration drives, anti-bullying advocacy, and charitable fundraising efforts.
