Board may grant waivers for felony convictions where more than 3 years have elapsed for crimes against a person, and more than 2 years for all other felonies, if applicant meets specified criteria.

Board President or designee may approve waivers between meetings without waiting for full board hearing, in addition to traditional majority vote approval.

Board cannot consider convictions where more than 10 years have elapsed since the date of conviction if no other criminal convictions occurred in the intervening time.

Applicants with pending criminal charges must request authorities provide charge information directly to the Board for determination of whether charges substantially relate to plumbing, HVACR, or HVACR restricted services.

Absolute bar on licensure for applicants convicted of felony sexual offenses applies to both master plumbers and master HVACR licensees.
