Allows employees, volunteers, and contractors to authorize child-serving entities to share background check results with other designated child-serving entities, provided authorization is in writing and submitted to the Office of Child Care Licensing.

Eliminates the requirement for individuals to undergo duplicate background checks when moving between different child-serving entities, reducing burden on employees and the State Bureau of Identification.

Requires the State Department of Education to establish procedures allowing employees, volunteers, and contractors to authorize sharing of background check results between child-serving entities.

Applies to all child-serving entities including DSCYF, residential child-care facilities, public and private schools, child-care providers, and youth camps that receive Federal Child Care Development Block Grant funds.
