Allow voter registration on election day at polling places from 7 am to 8 pm for presidential primary, primary, special, and general elections by replacing the previous fourth Saturday deadline requirement.

Accept government-issued photo identification or documents dated within 60 days of registration (utility bills, bank statements, government checks, paychecks, or other government documents) as proof of identity for same-day registration.

Require mail-in registration applications received by the registration deadline to be immediately processed, and applications received from agencies must be processed upon receipt if received by the deadline.

Allow registration applications received after the deadline but on or before primary or general election day to be held and processed after that election.

Permit the Department to process applications updating a registrant's address or name until the day prior to presidential primary, primary, special, or general elections.

Take effect January 1, 2019.
