Designates March 26, 2019, as "Rare Disease Day" in the State of Delaware.

Acknowledges that nearly 7,000 rare diseases exist in the United States, each affecting fewer than 200,000 Americans, with rare diseases collectively affecting almost 30 million Americans.

Notes that while the FDA has approved more than 450 drugs and biologics for rare disease treatment, millions of Americans with rare diseases lack approved treatment options.

Recognizes that nearly one in 10 Americans have rare diseases, meaning thousands of Delaware residents are affected by these conditions.

Supports participation in the National Organization for Rare Disorders' nationwide observance of Rare Disease Day on February 28, 2019.
