Recognizes Ramadan, the ninth month of the lunar calendar, as a month of fasting, sacrifice, and reflection observed by Muslim Americans.

Acknowledges Muslim residents' contributions to Delaware's economy, culture, and society, including their roles in medicine, science, technology, education, military, and community service.

Notes that Muslim Americans represent approximately 10 percent of U.S. physicians and have served in the United States Armed Forces since the American Revolutionary War.

Recognizes historical discrimination and anti-Muslim violence faced by Muslim Americans, particularly since September 11, 2001, and encourages respect and understanding.

Encourages all governments, schools, and businesses throughout Delaware to provide religious accommodations to Muslim residents, students, and workers during Ramadan in accordance with existing law.
