Recognizes approximately 130 young men from Delaware high schools who participated in the 2019 Boys State session held June 9, 2019 at Legislative Hall in Dover.

Acknowledges that participants received hands-on training in the legislative process, including electing a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, and other state offices from among their ranks.

Commends participants for studying elections, legislative procedures, committee systems, and other aspects of representative democracy during their week-long session.

Extends congratulations to the delegates and best wishes for their future endeavors, with hope that some may serve as elected representatives in the future.

Thanks the American Legion Department of Delaware for sponsoring this educational program and directs that copies of the resolution be presented to all delegates and the American Legion.
