Honors young women from Delaware public and private high schools participating in the 2019 Delaware Girls State session held June 16-22, 2019 at Legislative Hall in Dover.

Recognizes 75 named participants who receive hands-on training in the legislative process, state government operations, bill procedures, elections, committee systems, and representative democracy.

Notes that participants elect among themselves a Governor, Lieutenant Governor, Attorney General, State Treasurer, State Auditor, State Insurance Commissioner, cabinet members, and legislative leadership.

Commends the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware for sponsoring the educational program and expresses hope that some participants may serve as elected representatives in future.

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to all delegates and the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware.
