Identifies that approximately 60,000 individuals are currently victims of modern slavery in the United States, with 1 in 6 runaway children reported to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children likely victims of forced sexual exploitation

Recognizes human trafficking as the second most profitable form of transnational crime after drug trafficking and calls for continued prevention efforts, victim support, and perpetrator prosecution
