Requires school district and charter school employees serving grades 6-12 to receive red flag indicator training: 3 hours of initial training within 60 days of employment, then at least 1 hour annually or 3 hours every 5 years, with training conducted within the first 60 days of each school year.

Red flag indicator training must cover recognizing psychosocial indicators and behaviors of students dangerous to self or others, and information on red flag reporting and referral requirements under § 4168.

Mandates each school district and charter school establish and maintain a red flag indicator reporting, tracking, and referral policy to ensure at-risk students are referred for mental health evaluation, treatment, or law enforcement action.

Provides immunity from civil liability, criminal liability, and professional discipline for school employees acting in good faith compliance with their school's red flag indicator reporting policy.

Does not prevent or override existing reporting requirements for child abuse, sexual abuse, or other crimes under state or federal law.
