Decouples the Principles and Practice of Engineering examination from experience requirements, allowing applicants who meet educational requirements to take the exam before completing four years of professional experience.

Allows examination to be taken in any order relative to when professional experience is acquired, as long as educational requirements are satisfied first.

Expands comity provisions to permit professional engineering experience obtained outside the United States, its territories, possessions, District of Columbia, and Canadian provinces or territories to be considered for licensing.

Maintains all existing licensure requirements while only modifying the sequencing of when examinations may be taken relative to experience accumulation.

Does not apply to applicants seeking licensure solely through experience without an educational component.
