Acknowledges the dangerous nature of lineman work, including emergency response duties during storms and crises to restore power and communications.

Notes that approximately 115,000 linemen work in the United States, maintaining 2.7 million transmission towers, 170 million wood poles, and 9 million miles of wire.

Highlights that linemen require four years of training to achieve journeyman status and serve critical infrastructure supporting homes, schools, hospitals, and communities.
