Calls on the U.S. Congress to pass legislation increasing federal research into factors harming pollinator health and raising public awareness about pollinator population losses

Highlights that pollinators contribute more than $24 billion annually to the U.S. economy, with honeybees alone accounting for $15 billion

Notes that domestically managed honeybee colonies declined from approximately 6 million in 1947 to roughly 2.5 million in 2018

Identifies stressors causing pollinator decline including inadequate diets, habitat loss, diseases, loss of genetic diversity, pesticide exposure, and Colony Collapse Disorder

Directs that copies of the resolution be sent to the U.S. President, presiding officers of Congress, and all Delaware Congressional members
