Expands voting methods for common interest community members to include in-person, proxy, electronic voting, email, petitions, and electronic signatures, and allows entities or trusts to designate a person to vote on their behalf

Modifies the purchaser cancellation period for condominium or cooperative contracts from 15 days to 5 days after receiving the public offering statement, provided the statement was not given more than 5 days before contract execution

Permits associations to charge up to $25 for providing unpaid assessment statements and limits association liability for errors in certificates to fees paid, except in cases of fraud or gross negligence

Allows declarants to amend declarations, bylaws, or plats during their period of control to correct clerical errors, ambiguities, title questions, or defects, or to comply with applicable laws

Extends declarant control termination provisions for nonresidential units to 7 years after declarants cease offering units for sale and applies existing declaration provisions for condominiums or cooperatives created before the chapter's effective date
