Prohibits employers from discriminating against employees or job applicants based on political affiliation or political belief in hiring, discharge, compensation, terms, conditions, or privileges of employment.

Prevents employers from limiting, segregating, or classifying employees in ways that would deprive them of employment opportunities based on political affiliation or political belief.

Creates exception allowing discrimination based on political affiliation or belief if the employer demonstrates it is a bona fide occupational qualification, required by law, or reasonably necessary for normal business operations.

Defines "political affiliation" as membership or close association with a political party or organization, and "political belief" as personal value judgments about political issues and the body politic.

Preserves employer authority to enforce reasonable workplace appearance, grooming, and dress standards while requiring allowances for employees to appear and groom consistent with their gender identity.
