Prohibits insurance carriers from requiring preauthorization for coverage of these devices for pregnant patients with physician recommendation.

Addresses inconsistency in Medicaid coverage where MCO enrollees could access devices without prior authorization while fee-for-service patients could not.

Aims to facilitate early detection of preeclampsia and other pregnancy complications where elevated blood pressure is a symptom.
