• Creates the "Public Employee Sexual Violence Act" allowing public employees to file civil suits against supervisors and employers for sexual violence despite expired statutes of limitations.

• Establishes a 1-year window from the effective date for employees to file claims in Superior Court for sexual violence that occurred up to 25 years prior.

• Defines sexual violence to include non-consensual touching, oral contact, penetration, exposure of genitals, threats of sexual acts, and sexually explicit communications in the workplace.

• Permits lawsuits against employers only if they engaged in a pattern or practice to prevent employees from reporting sexual violence and intimidated employees to deny them their rights under state and federal employment laws.

• Exempts claims filed under this Act from defenses available under the State Tort Claims Act and County and Municipal Tort Claims Act.
