Adds childcare expenses as an authorized campaign expenditure, allowing candidate committees to pay reasonable and necessary expenses for care of a candidate's child or children when incurred in connection with campaign activities.

Modifies the punctuation and formatting of existing authorized expenditure categories in § 8020 to achieve consistency with the Legislative Drafting Manual.

Maintains all existing authorized campaign expenditures including wages for campaign staff, travel, advertising, office rental, and professional fees.

Specifies that candidates and candidates' spouses may not receive salary or wage payments from campaign committees.
