Honors 44 young women from Delaware high schools participating in the 2022 Girls State session held during the week of June 20, 2022 at Legislative Hall in Dover.

Recognizes the educational value of the program, which provides hands-on training in the legislative process, bill development, elections, committee systems, and the American system of representative democracy.

Commends and thanks the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware for sponsoring this educational program for youth.

Extends congratulations to all participants and best wishes for their future endeavors, expressing hope that some may return to the legislature as elected officials.

Directs that copies of the resolution be presented to each delegate and to the American Legion Auxiliary Department of Delaware.
