Designates September 2022 as Alopecia Awareness Month in Delaware to increase awareness of hair loss conditions affecting all genders and ages.

Acknowledges that Alopecia Areata affects approximately 6.8 million Americans and can cause ranging degrees of hair loss from patches to complete baldness.

Notes that while no cure currently exists, hair regrowth is generally possible for Alopecia Areata patients since hair follicles are not permanently scarred.

Calls upon citizens, government agencies, and organizations to eliminate stigma surrounding alopecia and provide support to those experiencing hair loss conditions.

Recognizes ongoing research by the National Institutes of Health and other organizations studying hair follicle development and genetic factors to develop treatments and intervention strategies.
