Celebrates the 109th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the USA, founded March 12, 1912, in Savannah, Georgia by Juliette "Daisy" Gordon Low with 18 girls.

Recognizes the 59th anniversary of the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council, formed in 1962 through a merger, which currently serves approximately 14,000 girls in more than 900 troops across Delaware, Maryland's Eastern Shore, and Virginia's Eastern Shore.

Notes that two-thirds of the nation's most accomplished women in public service, business, science, education, and the arts were Girl Scouts, and all of Delaware's women legislators are members of Honorary Girl Scout Troop 1912.

Proclaims 2021 as the "Year of the Girl" in Delaware and requests the Governor encourage citizens to observe this designation through appropriate programs, ceremonies, and activities.

Directs copies of the resolution to be sent to the Chief Executive Officers of both the Girl Scouts of the USA and the Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay Council upon passage.
