Designates March 26, 2022, as "Epilepsy Awareness Day" in Delaware to promote awareness and reduce stigma surrounding epilepsy.

Requests the Governor to issue a proclamation declaring March 26, 2022, as "Epilepsy Awareness Day" and calls upon state agencies and Delawareans to undertake suitable efforts to increase epilepsy awareness.

Notes that epilepsy affects approximately 3,000,000 Americans and over 10,000 Delawareans, with approximately 470,000 American children living with the disorder.

Acknowledges that lack of public knowledge about epilepsy leads to unnecessary stigma, discrimination, lost job opportunities, and inability to respond appropriately during seizures.

Recognizes that Epilepsy Awareness Day, begun as a grassroots initiative in 2008, is now celebrated annually on March 26th in various states and countries to improve quality of life for individuals with epilepsy.
