Designates May 4, 2022 as "4-H Day" in Delaware to recognize the organization's contributions to youth development.

4-H serves over 35,000 youth in Delaware, representing 40% of the state's school-age population, through 134 community clubs led by over 900 volunteers.

4-H operates in Delaware through community clubs, after-school programs, military programs, school enrichment, camps, and special interest projects for youth ages 5 to 19.

The Delaware 4-H program is based on three national mandates (science and technology, healthy living, and citizenship) and four essential elements (mastery, belonging, independence, and generosity).

The Houston Cardinals 4-H Club, established in 1914, was the first 4-H club in Delaware over 100 years ago.
